Manchester United have reached an agreement with Juventus to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.
Manchester United have agreed to pay Juventus €15m (£12.8m) plus a further €8m (£6.8m) in add-ons for Ronaldo, who is set to sign a two-year contract after personal terms are finalised.
Confirming the news, an official Man United statement read: “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.

Further in his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games, “Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester.”
Ronaldo’s departure from Juventus was confirmed on Friday by boss Max Allegri, who revealed he was told by the player he had “no intention” of playing for the club again. (Inputs from News Agency)
